More Info: If you would prefer to use Recostar to create Searchable PDF’s but are concerned about the size of the exported document, you can use the following setting in folder import to reduce the size of the final document.

Instructions:

1. Open up Batch Class management in the Ephesoft UI
2. Navigate to the BC you wish to use Recostar for creating Searchable PDF’s
3. Open the IMPORT_MULTIPAGEPAGE_FILES plugin 
4. append “-depth 4” after “–compress LZW” in “IM Convert Output Image Parameters”

5. Finally open the CreateMultiPage_Files Plugin and select Recostar as the PDF creation engine.
